Mark your calendars for the 26th annual Tree Lighting Festival, when Santa Claus visits North City for fun, festivities, and the “lighting of the tree” on top of our 3.7 million gallon reservoir!
In addition to North City Water District’s “tree lighting elven crew,” this beloved community tradition represents the dedication and generosity of each of these sponsors:
Fun for the Whole Family
Festivities include holiday music from Around the Sound Community Band (complete with your favorite sing-along carols), free hot cocoa and cookies, and the arrival of Santa Claus in Rudolph the ReinTruck (aka “The AntlerMobile”) for sharing your childrens’ wish lists and photos.

Plus a Toy Drive
Please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Les Schwab’s Toy Drive on the night of the event. Here are a few ideas:
- Infant Gifts: plush animals, sensory and developmental toys
- Gifts for Kids ages 3-10: books, games, puzzles, art kits or supplies, science kits, Legos, soccer balls or basketballs, dolls or toy trucks, plush animals
- Gifts for Teens: sports equipment, board games, science kits, art supplies, gift cards for clothing or music stores
