Shoreline Water District, responsible for maintaining the quality and distribution of water for over 25,000 Shoreline and Lake Forest Park residents, is pleased to announce the appointment of Diane Pottinger, P.E. as its new District Manager. She will be replacing Stu Turner, who will retire early in 2012 after serving the District for over 9 years.
Ms. Pottinger has an outstanding depth of knowledge in the water industry. For the past 12 years, she has served as a consulting engineer for the Shoreline Water District and Ronald Wastewater as an employee of CHS Engineers, LLC, a Bellevue, Washington civil engineering firm. She was the lead author on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for the Ronald Wastewater District, as well as the 2011 Water System Plan Update for the Shoreline Water District; she has served as a Commissioner for the City of Bellevue’s Environmental Services Commission; and she is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Diane’s responsibilities will include oversight of all of Shoreline Water District’s staff, operations, and management including long range and strategic planning issues, accounting and financial information, water rates, and Capital Improvement Projects. “Diane has decades of experience and an in-depth understanding of District policies, State statutes, and various governmental regulations affecting water quality,” said Ron Ricker, President of the Shoreline Water District Board of Commissioners.
Diane,
I hope things are going well for you.
I was looking for your email address on the website.
Would you mind sharing your Commissioner handbook or what you might call it?
We completed a handbook for staff but i would like to develop one for commissioners.
If I recall you had indicated you had something like this.
We have a RFP on the street to update our web-page who did you use?
Thank you
Mike Johnson
Sure Mike. I will send you the requested information. – Diane
