This coming Tuesday August 11, come join us at the annual North City Jazz Walk, where five blocks of 15th Avenue NE gets turned into a community Street Festival filled live music, food trucks, face painting, fire truck tours, beer gardens, and more!

Thanks to the generous support of King County Councilmember Rod Dembowski and Paul Barerra of North City Law, all five of those blocks will be closed to traffic, so you can enjoy the party and wander safely between each band at your leisure.

Start your evening with some delicious “Jazz Bites” available from the various music venues as well as six different food trucks, stroll among the community and neighborhood tables, catch up with friends at one of two outdoor beer gardens thanks to the Rotary Clubs of Shoreline and Lake Forest Park, hang out at the two free outdoor stages, and for one low ticket price, take in some of our region’s finest jazz artists at 5 different indoor venues—all coordinated by volunteers and members of the North City Business Association and the North City Neighborhood Association.

In addition to our sponsorship of the ‘Walk, North City Water District is hosting Greta Matassa in our conference room; other musicians include Pearl Django at North City Bistro, Angela Petrucci at North City Lounge, Shear Jazz at Frank Lumber‘s “The Door Store” outdoor stage, The Foot Stompers at Frank Lumber’s Bargain Barn outdoor stage, Ranger and the Re-Arrangers at Chicken Sodam, and back by popular demand, Elnah Jordan at Bethel Lutheran Church.

Ticket prices are $30 in support of these amazing musicians (or $35 on the night of the event).
